Job Description: Spanish Bilingual Legal Assistant / Paralegal

Kitay Law Offices is seeking a full-time Spanish Bilingual Legal Assistant / Paralegal for the firm’s Reading office.

This is an ideal position for candidates who are trying to get into the law field.

Job Responsibilities include:

• General administrative duties including answering phones, greeting clients in the office reception area and scheduling appointments;
• Assisting with general case management, ie: legal correspondence, including settlement memorandums, etc.;
• Obtain police and medical documentation, i.e. medical records and bills;
• Scan and save documents;
• Data entry and
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fully Spanish bilingual- read, write and speak in a professional manner with confidence;
• Must have a proactive work ethic, initiative and a willingness to learn;
• Be a team player with good communication skills;
• Have exceptional organizational skills and a fine attention to detail;
• Must be tech-savy and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products;
• Strong ability to handle multiple tasks in an face-paced environment where there is little supervision and
• Be highly motivated to succeed.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in the legal field and with “Needles” database software not necessary but is a plus;
• Previous experience in Personal Injury law and/or customer service also not necessary but a plus;
