Dawn M. Morris

Paralegal

Dawn has worked as a Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Civil Litigation Paralegal for more than 20 years. Her expertise is in the practice areas of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and product liability with an emphasis on defective medical device and pharmaceutical drug claims.  Dawn earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science – Paralegal Studies, from Delaware County Community College in Media, Pennsylvania. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, horseback riding, swimming and spending time with family.

Rysha Rodriguez

Operations Manager, Paralegal

Rysha has earned a Bachelor Degree in Accounting with a Minor in Finance
from the University of Puerto Rico.  Her fine attention to detail and commitment to

Her associates degree in Specialized Business Administration Management from Berks Technical Institute in Wyomissing, PA and previous work as a Medical Secretary at the Instituto de Banca y Comercio in Ponce, Puerto Rico makes her a true asset to the firm.

Paralegal

A native of El Salvador, Marta came to the U.S. to raise her family and grow professionally. Her experience with legal procedures and within the Latino community are wonderful assets to the firm. Receptionist

Born and raised in Berks County, Stacey is dedicated to the community in which she calls home. Stacey serves as a Paralegal at Kitay Law Offices, primarily focusing on Criminal Defense. Stacey is often the first person a new client might speak to from the law firm. Brenda Cedeno Avila

Intake Manager

Chances are, if you’ve called Kitay Law Offices about becoming a client, you’ve talked to Brenda. As an Intake Specialist, Brenda has the unique opportunity to speak with many people looking to our law firm to retain a tough lawyer. Brenda is a graduate of Millersville University with a B.A. in Government and Political Affairs with a minor in Cultural Studies.

While at Millersville, she studied abroad in Spain and completed course work in International Business and Spanish Language/Culture.

Marina Vazquez

Paralegal

Marina Vazquez is a Legal Assistant in the Criminal Defense Department of Kitay Law Offices. Marina has always been interested in law and criminal justice, which led her to pursue an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

In her free time, Marina enjoys baking treats as part of a small home business, as well as visiting new places and restaurants. She also enjoys watching crime drama TV shows and spending time with her partner and family. Plus, Marina loves collecting tumblers from Starbucks.

Maribel Lopez Garcia

Legal Assistant

Maribel Lopez Garcia is a Legal Assistant at Kitay Law Offices who concentrates her time working on workers’ compensation cases for clients. She studied Business Administration and Accounting at Gettysburg College. Before joining Kitay Law Offices, Maribel gained significant experience in human resources.

In her free time, Maribel loves to spend quality time with her family. She also enjoys discovering new places and immersing herself in nature, reading books and tending to plants.

Lisette Maya

Paralegal

Lisette Maya is a highly skilled and motivated Legal Assistant in the Criminal Defense Department at Kitay Law Offices, with extensive experience honed from customer service and asset protection roles. Having earned dual B.A.s in Criminal Justice and Philosophy from Alvernia University, her understanding of legal regulations is sound. In her free time, she enjoys painting, creating DIY projects, exercising, hiking and photography. Lisette’s passion for criminal justice has led her to devote time as a volunteer at the Pardon Project. Lastly, she hails from Berks County Pennsylvania and can also make unique origami creations!

Sheynd Umana

Intake Manager

Shenyd Umana is an Intake Manager with Kitay Law Offices. She has prior experience working in a civil law firm. Shenyd is also a member of the Susquehanna Trailers Hiking Club and was formerly a member of the US Customs Border Patrol Explorers program. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and canoeing, going out on day trips, and is an avid fan of the Harry Potter franchise. Shenyd likes to sing and is motivated to work with an amazing group of people.

Awilda Filpo

Document Management Specialist

Awilda Filpo is a Document Management Specialist who achieved an Associates Degree from Borough of Manhattan Community College. She has a plethora of knowledge in the banking industry, having worked in Brooklyn, NY for 7 years prior to joining Kitay Law Offices. In her free time, Awilda loves to exercise and stay physically and mentally fit. An amazing fact about Awilda is that she has been leading, problem-solving and being a boss since she was 20 years old – she even became an accomplished shift supervisor for check cashiers at that age! At the age of 21, she then became head teller for a credit union which taught her important life lessons. Her confidence and maturity have allowed her to continue succeeding professionally no matter the obstacles.

Jonathan Zamudio

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Jonathan Zamudio is an accomplished Accounts Receivable Specialist at Kitay Law Offices. He is a proud graduate of Reading Senior High School, aka “The Castle on the Hill”. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan had a rich career history in finance and collections, most notably as a Mortgage Loan Officer and as a Collections Specialist. Jonathan is also actively involved in his community; currently holding the post of President of JETHoops – a non-profit traveling youth boys basketball team. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys playing a wide array of video games, shooting hoops, and spending quality time with family and friends. As an avid collector, Jonathan has quite the impressive collection of sports cards and memorabilia – making him an interesting person inside and out!
