On Thursday, September 17, 2026, Kitay Law Offices hosted An Evening of Hope at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Guests, sponsors, and community partners gathered for a night of connection and generosity in support of the National Alliance for Eating Disorders.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, and bid, An Evening of Hope raised over $70,000 for the Alliance’s work supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders.
Guests gathered at Elmwood Park Zoo for An Evening of Hope.
Kitay Law Offices is known as “The Law Firm With a Heart®,” and that name has always meant more than how we treat our clients. It means showing up for our community, especially for causes that touch the lives of the people around us.
This cause is deeply personal to the Kitay family. What began as something close to home has grown into an opportunity to bring our community together, raise awareness, and help other individuals and families facing similar challenges.
In a letter to donors and sponsors after the event, our founder, Kenneth M. Kitay, Esq., put it this way: “Beyond the financial contributions, your support sends a powerful message that those facing eating disorders, and the families who love them, are not alone.”
For 25 years, the National Alliance for Eating Disorders has provided life-changing support to individuals and families affected by eating disorders, working to expand access to care, education, and recovery resources. In 2025 alone, the Alliance:
Every dollar raised at An Evening of Hope helps the Alliance continue that work and reach even more people who need support.
Kenneth M. Kitay, Esq. thanks guests and sponsors for their support.
The evening brought together community leaders, advocates, local businesses, and friends of the firm. Guests enjoyed dinner, live violin music, and a silent auction filled with signed sports memorabilia and other donated items.
The heart of the night was the program. Ken thanked the sponsors and guests who made the evening possible, speakers shared why the Alliance’s work matters so much, and special honorees were recognized for their support of the cause. For many in the room, it was a powerful reminder that no one facing an eating disorder should have to do it alone.
An event like this only happens when a community comes together. We are deeply grateful to every sponsor, donor, auction contributor, and guest who supported An Evening of Hope. Thank you also to the National Alliance for Eating Disorders team, to Elmwood Park Zoo for hosting us, and to the members of the Kitay Law Offices team who spent months planning the evening.
On behalf of the Kitay family and everyone at Kitay Law Offices, thank you for helping turn something so personal into something that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
“On behalf of our community, thank you for your generous support and for allowing us to do this life-saving work.”
