Meet Our Staff


Kenneth M. Kitay, Esquire

Throughout the community, Ken Kitay is known as el abogado del pueblo, (the lawyer of the town.) Ken is committed to his clients and is easily accessible by his personal cell phone and email. He prides himself on returning calls and responding to emails within 24 hours or less. Since graduating from Widener University Law School in 1993, Ken has been a Trial Lawyer, and has litigated thousands of civil and criminal cases by zealously advocating on behalf of his clients with a concentration in the practice areas Workers’ Comp, Personal Injury, Social Security Disability and Criminal Defense. In addition to his regular law practice, Ken represents promising young baseball players from the Dominican Republic, who dream of playing in the major leagues. Ken speaks Spanish and will gladly meet at the office or in your home. Beyond the office and courtroom, Ken’s commitment to the community extends to the Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley, where he has proudly served on the Executive Board since 2010. Ken is a dedicated husband to Mindy; his wife of over 16 years; as well as a father to his two young children Adam and Alexa.

Thomas J. Pivnicny, Esquire

Thomas completed his undergraduate education at Occidental College in 2007, graduating cum laude. He then graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 2012. During law school and before joining the firm, Thomas completed clerkships with three different judges of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, including Judge Denis P. Cohen, Judge Glynnis D. Hill, and Judge Marlene F. Lachman. Thomas concentrates his practice is the areas of Worker’s Comp, Personal Injury / Motor Vehicle Accidents and Social Security Disability. In his free time, Thomas enjoys spending the day with his wife, son and their two cats, as well as exercising, playing the guitar, and snowboarding.

Benjamin M. Lombard, Esquire

Benjamin completed his undergraduate education at The Pennsylvania State University in 2011 earning degrees in History, French & Francophone Studies, and Global & International Studies. He then graduated from Widener University School of Law in 2015. While at law school, Benjamin interned for HIAS Pennsylvania—a nonprofit organization providing immigration legal assistance to the Greater Philadelphia area—and the Governor’s Office of General Counsel at the Department of Transportation. In his free time, Benjamin enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and hiking.

Sarah Seman, Esquire

Sarah completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations at Wilkes University in 2012, graduating cum laude. She then graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2015, graduating cum laude. While at law school, Sarah interned for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania; she also interned for the Honorable Phillip Scarpellino of the New Haven District Superior Court. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and listen to music.

Daniel J. Correnty, Esquire

Daniel joins the law firm as a 2015 graduate of Widener University Delaware Law School.

Upon graduation, Daniel was awarded a fellowship with the Honorable Timika Lane of the Court of Common Pleas First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. The offices of Fine and Staud and also of Frederick L. Horn, both in Philadelphia, employed Daniel after his completing law school. With both firms, he worked primarily on personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.

When away from the office, Daniel enjoys baseball, hiking, and reading.

Perla Vinasco, Paralegal

Perla is a bilingual Paralegal to Kenneth M. Kitay. Her experience as a lawyer and business administrator in her native Colombia and as paralegal, interpreter and Real Estate Agent in the US provides clients with a wealth of knowledge and insight. With much compassion and dedication, Perla serves as a legal aid at the Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley in Bethlehem and also provides much needed guidance to our client’s in the areas of Family Petition Immigration cases. This experience has given Perla a realistic view and clear understanding about the legal needs of the Hispanic community, which allows the firm to truly help people at a time when they need it most.

Pamela Melo, Paralegal

Pamela is a bilingual Paralegal to Thomas J. Pivnicny and Sarah Seman who has earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from Lehigh Carbon Community College; an ABA approved paralegal program. Pamela’s fine attention to detail and commitment to providing the best client service possible, make her a true asset to the firm. Outside of work, Pamela loves to read and spend time with her children.

Clara Andrade, Paralegal

Clara is a bilingual Paralegal to Kenneth M. Kitay and a graduate of Berks Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and plans to continue her education to receive a Bachelor’s Degree. She loves to spend her free time with family, listening to music, and learning to play piano.

Yesenia Justiniano, Paralegal

Yesenia is a bilingual Paralegal to Kenneth M. Kitay, Thomas J. Pivnicny, and is soon to graduate with an Associate Degree in Specialized Business in Paralegal Studies at Berks Technical Institute. Her discipline as a Paralegal is a guarantee to our clients that their cases will be well handled and they will always get the attention they deserve. Yessica Castillo, Paralegal

Yessica is a bilingual Paralegal to Kenneth M. Kitay and Thomas J. Pivnicny. She is a graduate of Kutztown University with Bachelor of Science and certified in Paralegal Studies. Her commitment to the Hispanic community provides a willingness to provide every individual who walks into the office with respect and the highest standard of service with care and concern. At present, Yessica is considering enrollment in law school in order to better serve her community and grow with the firm.

Janeth George, Paralegal

Janeth is a bilingual Paralegal to Kenneth M. Kitay, Thomas J. Pivnicny and Benjamin Lombard, who has earned an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Berks Technical Institute. Janeth’s experience with various health insurance companies with regards to the national rollout of the Affordable Care Act and her vast experience with Social Security Disability claims make her an outstanding advocate in fighting for the legal rights of our clients at Kitay Law Offices.

Margarita Martinez, Legal Assistant & Bookkeeper

Margarita attended Reading Area Community College and earned her associates degree in accounting and is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in accounting at Alvernia University. She enjoys music, group activities and everything that comes in the color pink.

Maria Reyes, Legal Assistant

Maria is a bilingual Legal Assistant at the Kitay Law Offices in Reading, PA. Maria brings a wealth of positive customer service knowledge to the law firm, along with years of both administrative and tax preparation experience. She is currently attending Alvernia University where she expects to obtain her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. This winning combination makes her a valuable member of the Kitay Law Offices team.

Marta Guido, Receptionist

A native of El Salvador, Marta came to the U.S. to raise her family and grow professionally. Her experience with legal procedures and within the Latino community are wonderful assets to the firm. Marta can fully understand the victims of personal injuries and she can communicate with them clearly and effectively during trying times when those suffering injuries need real guidance and support.
