Biography
Helee is an Immigration Attorney who specializes in removal proceedings before the Federal Immigration Courts and family-based petitions before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). In addition, she assists individuals in a broad spectrum of immigration matters including bond applications before the Department of Homeland Security (DHS-ICE/CBP), appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and Federal Circuit Courts, as well as immigrant visas, waivers, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases.
In Law School, Helee completed her concentration in International Law Honors. She was selected to be a part of the well-reputed Asylum Clinic where she completed more than 1,000 hours of service. In her role at the clinic, she advised and prepared clients in relation to immigration matters for both defensive and affirmative asylum applications. She was a member of the Immigration Law Society and Vice President of the Trusts and Estates Society.
Helee is fluent in English, Gujarati and is conversational in Hindi.
As an immigrant herself, she has had first-hand experience with the struggles and fears associated with the immigration process in the United States. She takes great passion and pride in helping individuals obtain relief and legal status within the United States.
Helee has been recognized as having extensive knowledge in immigration and nationality law. She counsels clients on legal and strategic issues arising from their individual immigration matter.
Over the years, Helee has developed an in-depth understanding of the ways in which immigration proceedings and visa processing are affected by the delicate interplay among the law, current political machinations, and the needs of businesses. She is particularly fluent in the bureaucratic process, political nuances, and comprehensive understanding of the current, ever-changing immigration laws. This enables her to provide effective, mindful, and creative representation to her clients.
